The Weaving Technology workshop series provides keynote speeches and hands-on sessions for K - 12 teachers on the use of innovative technology in the classroom. Through a framework of pedagogy before technology, the series shows teachers how to use cutting edge technology such as mixed reality, augmented reality, virtual reality, robotics, wearable technology, and drones and how they might integrate that into their classroom.
All resources for the Weaving Tech workshops are available online to any teacher that wishes to access them. The series is supported by the CQUniversity Centre of Professional Development and was originally funded by a Google CS4HS grant. Hosted by The CREATE Lab at CQUniversity, which fosters collaborative research and engagement around technology and education. Lunch and refreshments will be provided on the day.
