This online Short Course outlines considerations for health and fitness professionals to consider when managing clients at risk of falls in the fitness setting.

Learning Outcomes:  

  1. Outline the risk of falls in the older population and identify preconditions which may contribute
  2. Identify other at-risk populations that health and fitness professionals may encounter in the fitness setting
  3. Describe strategies in falls prevention which can be implemented to reduce incidents and injuries.

If you are a Registered Exercise Professionals with Fitness Australia as a Group Exercise/Gym Instructor or greater, you will also be eligible to attain Fitness Australia CECs on the completion of this course.
