Course Summary:

This online Short Course outlines the role of the fitness specialist in the rehabilitation process when dealing with clients with medical conditions or injured clients, utilising a team approach. The course outlines the process for developing networks with professional health providers such as physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors and General Practitioners in the referral process for clients, gaining client consent and providing medicolegal reports in the Australian context.

    2. Identify the process for responding to referrals
    3. Describe the exercise considerations, guidelines and monitoring required in managing clients under referrals
