Course Summary:

This online Short Course will provide guidelines for the health and fitness professional to work with corporate groups to facilitate health and wellness programs, and team building activities with their employees. The course will provide recommended pre-screening, program adaptation, and modification for employees with specific needs. A risk management tool and examples of team building activities are outlined as well as recommendations for gaining participation and tracking results to evaluate the program.

  1. Describe the principles of design of health and wellness programs for diverse groups
  2. Identify mechanisms to meet corporate group goals for general health and fitness programs
  3. Identify individual and group activities to undertake in a corporate health program
  4. Outline mechanisms to assess, measure and report on team progress over time in corporate health programs.

Undertaking this course enables students to meet their Continuing Professional Development obligations and industry update requirements in their profession. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be awarded Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours and a CQUniversity Certificate of Completion.

If you are a Registered Exercise Professional with Fitness Australia as a Group Exercise/Gym Instructor or greater, you will also be eligible to attain Fitness Australia CECs on the successful completion of this course.
