Workshop Summary:

This STEM Activity is being hosted as a collaboration between CQUniversity and Emmaus College for secondary students in year 10. 

Project Booyah is an established 20-week early-intervention program for disadvantaged young people developed by the Queensland Police Service (QPS).

Project Booyah, translates to an expression for 'joy, excitement or triumph'. The Project is a structured community inclusive program incorporating adventure based learning, social and emotional skills development, mentoring, functional literacy/numeracy and vocational education and training to support identified at risk young people to regain a sense of their own self-worth, build resilience and make better life choices.

This manual has been developed for facilitators participating in the program.


The course has been developed by the Queensland Police Service in collaboration with CQUniversity as a community partnership.
